Travel Ball Select (TBS)recently teamed up with USSSA and ESPN and has announced its NEW National Championship Series starting this Spring. The BEST of the BEST will go at it! There will be Super Regional Champions from different areas across the United States and State Champions from the major travel ball states (California, Texas, Georgia and Florida). The Champions will meet up at the TBS National Championship where an UNDISPUTED NATIONAL CHAMPION will be crowned!
What are your thoughts? Will this be good for travel baseball? Will this hurt Triple Crown tourneys and the Elite 32? With major TV coverage by ESPN will this prompt the major travel baseball states to put together more showcase type teams?
