The 2013-2014 East Cobb Stars 9U team is looking for a few Major level players to complete our roster. We are looking for players for multiple positions, including pitchers and families who want to play a heavy schedule of baseball.
Our roster to date is made up of certain 8U East Cobb Team Reebok players and other East Cobb players. Our team plans to play in 12-14, USSSA and Triple Crown Tournaments and will include 1 extra end of season World Series type event (i.e., Panama City, Myrtle Beach or Orlando).
The team will also have access to an indoor facility for winter workouts and rainy days.
Our manager is John Philips, who assisted with Reebok and has coached other All-Star and Kid Pitch teams, and will be dedicated to the development of all of the players. Our top assistant coach, was a D-1 pitcher and third baseman for University of Akron and played in the CWS. We will also utilize professional instruction from ECB Academy coaches as necessary. If you want to play for a highly competitive, well organized “major” team, please call or email to schedule a private workout. We will also hold 1-2 individual team workouts to be scheduled soon.

The 9U East Cobb Stars club is continuing to hold individual private workouts for players and families that want to play a competitive 9U tournament schedule but more importantly committed to player development. As one of the most improved 8U teams, there has been a lot of interest in this rising 9U team.
In addition, we have scheduled the following team workouts.
July 22nd @ 7:00 p.m. ECB Field #8
July 24th @ 7:00 p.m. ECB Field #8

We are continuing to look for elite/major athletes to complete our roster for 2013-2014. The East Cobb Stars will be a highly competetive team without losing sight of player development. We will utilie professional instruction from ECB Academy in the fall and spring.
