ABOUT THE DUNN RIGHT DAWGS
Who Are We We are the 9u Dunn Right Dawgs playing out of Dunn Right Baseball Academy. Within the Academy, players will be part of One Thing for Youth ministry which teaches Christian based values. Players will be instructed by members of Auterson Baseball as well as coaches who have played the game and truly understand the challenges our players at every level will face. Players will also learn through professionals how to take care of their bodies through exercise and diet. Unlike other programs, Dunn Right Baseball will lead young men and prepare them for a richer life using baseball as our stage. Our Mission To develop top tiered baseball players and authentic leaders. At our 9U program, we will provide our players expert baseball instructors who will develop our players’ superior skills, knowledge of the game, and the mental mindset to be successful on and off the field. Our goal is to develop our players to compete at both the high school and collegiate levels. Our Coaches Matt Eison, Tony Jaroszewski, Tommy Maloney, Andy Summers, and Mike Graham will be our 9U coaches, and we will be utilizing the resources of Auterson Baseball, Ryan Dunn of Dunn Right Baseball Academy and Dunn Right Sports, and Mark Wohlers. Commitment We expect full commitment from our players and our families. Attendance at all practices, games, and tournaments is expected. Any conflicts must be approved by our coaches. Our coaches will work hard to put our players in positions to be most successful. Each player will learn to play, at a minimum, one infield and one outfield position. All positions will be earned and there is no guarantee of playing time. Attitude, preparedness, accountability, respectfulness, hustle, and performance are our measuring tools. Bad sportsmanship by any player or family member will not be tolerated. Practice/Games/Tournaments During each season, we will practice a minimum of two days per week. We will play both games and weekend tournaments. Practices will last a minimum of two hours. Financial Background Through donations, we will strive to keep costs reasonable and consistent with travel ball organizations. Parents We understand the financial, the emotional and time commitments that you make. The right mix of families is essential to the success of any team. We understand that our players are your sons first and our players second. At the beginning of each season, we will develop with you goals for your son, and throughout the season, we will meet to review those goals. Please feel free to look up Auterson Baseball and see what they're about also. This is about not only building ball players, but building young men with a purpose. |
