Georgia Octane Grey will be holding tryouts Monday July 29th.
We are looking for 2-3 spots depepnding on position. We are looking for pitchers and catchers and possibly an infielder. The more versatile--the better.
The head coach Robbie Morrison and Asst. Coach Travis Bailey will be paid coaches with no kids on the team. The coaching staff has over 13 years of professional baseball experience with the Kansas City Royals and St. Louis Cardinals Organizations respectively.
With a professional pitcher, infielder, and outfielder on the coaching staff, we have put together a coaching staff unrivaled with any other program.
Even more importantly the coaching staff has coached high school, college, and has several years of travel ball coaching experience.
We have secured two fields. One in the North end of Forsyth County and one in the south. We will practice in the fall 1-2 times a week and play 2 fall tournaments. We will practice 2-3 times a week in the spring and play 10-12 tournaments.
We are prepared and have a budget in place.
We are interested in developing young players to play at a high level. We will develop respectful, young men on and off the field with an emphasis on how to win and lose like a champion.
