From the beginning, Sam Bat has striven to make the best bat possible. Located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, Sam Bat began operations in February 1997 with the goal of making the first approved maple wood bat for the Major Leagues. Since then, Sam Bat has continued to produce high performance bats that have set the standard for maple bats. In the 2011 MLB season Sam Bat has seen over 100 professional baseball players swinging their bats.
