Denny Pritchetts Jayhawks, based out of Cumming, Georgia since 2007 with a track record or player development, nationally competitive tournament teams, and partnered with Mizuno Baseball so that our players get access to high quality Mizuno gear at Jayhawks preferred pricing.
Passion for the game, not profit, is what drives us. Playing at the elite level is expensive, however, our player fees are extremely reasonable as our first priority is to help players fulfill their goals. One of the main differences with our program is that we focus on developing ONE CORE TEAM PER AGE GROUP, not an A-Team, B-Team, etc. This leads to stronger teams that have a track record for winning and being part of team that can progress and develop each year. Being part of a program where you can develop and advance, from high school ball to navigating the college recruiting process is critical. Our high school age program has produced Dugout Club 100, All-Perfect Game Selections, and consistently sending players to play in college since the program started.
The program is operated by scout and well known hitting and catching instructor Denny Pritchett. Our teams train out of the Denny Pritchett Baseball Clinic facilities. Our program is focused not only on developing excellent baseball players, but also instilling positive core traits such as teamwork, loyalty, and life lessons that will help our young men succeed in life beyond baseball.

Players (even if they also play football, must commit to fall and spring/summer). This team will play as Major 16u team in fall and spring after high school and then move to 16/17u for late summer schedule for Perfect Game and other showcase level events. Our annual pricing for a team of this caliber will remain highly competitive.
We will begin having open workouts weekly for the next few weeks (June 29 late July) at Sawnee Mountain Park and Chestatee High School.

Regarding formal tryouts, players must register prior to attending a tryout. We will have 2 sessions beginning on July 26 - 27. Players are encouraged to attend both sessions if possible. Players should bring fluids to drink and be in full baseball gear. Tryout cost of $20 in cash or check payable to Georgia Jayhawks Baseball.

Due to the number of players that participated in CABA World Series this week, including our own team that played until the final day, we will host some makeup dates for those who could not attend. We had a great turnout, but would like to give players an opportunity who were playing this week or out of town.
