USTBA will introduce the Top Ranked "Ultimate Division" for the spring 2009 season. Top Ranked-Ultimate Division tournaments will provide the highest competition in youth baseball on a Local, State and National level for the 11U-16U age divisions. Teams which participate in the Ultimate Division will have a proven track record of success in competing against the best teams in the country.
The Ultimate Division National Championships will have a maximum participation of 16 teams per age division, justifiably named the "Ultimate 16". The Champions from each age division will receive a FREE-PAID Berth to the NATIONAL YOUTH BASEBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS at First Tennessee Fields in August 2009 consisting of the Championship teams from 12 organizations.
Georgia USTBA will be hosting 2 Ultimate Division tournaments in the spring of 2009. These tournaments will include teams from Georgia and neighboring states and limited to 12 teams per age division. The format will include 2 pool play games with a pool seeding cross-over single elimination to the Championships.
