The Strike One Slammers 10U team is looking forward to continuing success in 11U. Our 10U team completed an amazing Fall/Spring season with 53 wins; including 3 championships and 6 second place finishes. While we have a solid core returning - we are looking to bring on motivated and passionate players for our 2015 season.
We will be holding a tryout clinic on July 30th and 31st at Legion Field in Austell, GA from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The tryout fee is $25 per player.
Our History and Philosophy
The Strike One program has 4 successful teams at 10U, 11U, 14U, and 18U. We practice at Legion Field in Austell, GA twice weekly with additional scrimmages throughout the season. Our plan is to participate in at least 4 Fall tournaments and complete a full Spring schedule including a World Series.
The goal is to play AA/AAA in USSSA, Triple Crown, and GSA. Our philosophy is simple - take highly motivated and passionate players and apply structured drill based practices to encourage growth. By doing this, our players develop at a fast pace and the team competes at a high level.
Our head coach has over 30 years experience coaching and mentoring youth ballplayers. Additionally - all Strike One teams have access to our in-house professional instructor and coach. As a former professional pitcher, he is an invaluable teacher and mentor to our young players. In addition to our team based field practices with professional coaching - private instruction is available (at additional cost).
