Dunwoody Warriors will have tryouts during the period Aug 9-16 with specific dates to be announced. Tryouts will take place at the MJCCA in Dunwoody at 5300 Tilly Mill Rd, Dunwoody, GA 30338.
The Warriors inaugural season was a success. The team started as a double A team and was pushed to triple A after winning 3 tournaments. As a triple A team, the Warriors won 1 tournament and achieved the goals outlined at the beginning of the season.
We will again operate a modified travel schedule. We will play 4 fall tournaments, 1-2 spring tournaments, and 5-6 summer tournaments. We will practice twice a week during the fall and summer with a few team workouts during the spring. We will wrap up our season at Cooperstown Dreams Park in late June.
Our top notch coaching staff is comprised of a GA Tech All American pitcher who played in the Astros organization, an outstanding hitting and fielding instructor with collegiate experience who played in the Astros organization, and a collegiate catcher.
There will be a $40 registration fee payable at the door.
