Evoshield Canes Baseball announces the formation of a new 12U team for play beginning in the spring of 2015. The Canes are one of the nation’s top showcase organizations. In Canes tradition, The Evoshield Canes 12U will recruit exceptional players, who exhibit winning attitudes. The team will play excellent competition and expect to be showcased in the nation’s top events.
The team will have two identical pro style evaluations on November 8 and 9. Registration will begin at 12:30. Evaluations will be begin at 1pm and finish at 4 pm. It is not necessary to attend both. Although this is an open event, talent at only the highest level will be considered. Additional evaluations may follow in order to showcase a premier team.
Evaluations will be held at Elingburg Field, Greensboro Day School, 5401 Lawndale Drive Greensboro, NC 27455 The field is 1/8th mile north of the School’s main campus on the east side of Lake Brandt Road. A small parking lot is at the field. Additional parking is on school campus at the intersection of Lake Brandt Road and Lawndale Drive.
The teammates will practice and train together throughout the winter in order to compete at the highest level in the spring. The players will experience personal and team instruction from coaches and trainers who played or are currently playing major college and professional baseball. The overriding goal is to develop players so that they are prepared to play showcase, high school, collegiate baseball, and beyond.
