Next Level Land Sharks 8u Kid Pitch team, coached by former College and Minor League and current high school coach Chad Parker, will be holding its tryout this Sunday, Dec 7th at 2pm at Excel Christian Academy.
The tryout will cost $10
This will be a new Major team based out of Emerson, GA in conjunction with LakePoint Sports. Most of the tournaments will be in and around LakePoint and East Cobb areas. Practices will be held at several different locations including a new indoor facility at LakePoint due to be completed in February. In the meantime, JCS in Acworth will be the primary indoor location with Excel Christian Academy in Cartersville being the primary outdoor location.
Coach Parker has coached a previous 8u Kid Pitch team that was very accomplished:
• 2012 8u Triple Crown State Champions
• 2013 9u USSSA Super NIT Runner-Up, 9u AAU National 3rd place
• 2014 10 Open Baseball World Champions, 10u Travel Nationals Runner Up
• With over 20 local tournament wins in Major and AAA Divisions
The Land Sharks will play in 10 tournaments locally and travel to a World Series at the end of June.
Cost to play $750, does not include World Series
