A new travel team based in Forsyth County is looking for a few more players.
The team played together in the summer and fall (won the tournament we played) and is starting to get ready now for the spring season.
Our fees are currently at $50 per month, have a great family atmosphere, anticipate playing about 2 out of every 3 weekends and plan to end the season in Vero Beach, Florida at Historic Dodgertown at the Baseball Youth Majors (http://www.baseballyouthmajors.com/verobeach). (We won an entry into the tournament, so you won't have to pay $250 for your son to play in it.)
We will start the season as a AA team, have some solid pitching, but looking to add more, along with some good hitters.
We will have tryouts on Sunday, Feb 1 from 2-5pm at Sharon Springs Park. We are in the process of trying to add a date for Saturday, too.
The team will start back practicing next Saturday, Jan. 24 and we invite players out to participate in that, too, to get ready for the tryouts. Email forsythfusion@yahoo.com for more on that, if you're interested in trying out or if you have any questions.
We plan to have a great time this season, work on getting better, win some games, enjoy the week tournament at the beach, but at the same time, have a few weekends away from the field to enjoy friends and family, too. |

Dear Sirs,
We just moved to Cumming on January 6th. My son, Luke, has played baseball since he was 4 and has played travel ball since he was 7. We would like to have him tryout with your team as I understand that you have practice this Saturday at Sharon Springs. Luke has played shortstop, 1B and pitched but understands that he will have to prove himself all over again and is ready to play RF until such time that he earns another position. I hope to hear from you soon.

***Tryouts Update***
The weather forecast does not look good for Sunday.
We are going to have the team practice on Thursday and Friday and invite anyone who is interested in trying out to come out to the practices.

We can schedule a private workout if your schedule does not allow you to make it on Thursday/Friday.
If the weather holds, we will still have the tryouts on Sunday, but would like anyone interested to let us know.
