We've had 2 successful tournaments already and look forward to the 3rd and last one of the fall on October 11 & 12. The 8's will play on Sunday ONLY!
The tournament will be played @ Dobbs Creek & City Park in Cumming, GA. We will take the first 6 paid teams in 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 & 13 year old divisions. The tournament will start at 9:00AM on Saturday and we will try not to start before 12:00 noon on Sunday.
ENTRY FEE: The tournament entry fees are $375 for 9 and older and $150 for 8 year olds.
NO GATE OR PARKING FEES!!!
AWARDS: Team & Individual trophies will be awarded for 1st & 2nd place teams.
REGISTRATION: To enter a tournament go to our tourney site link below and print the registration form, complete and mail with your entry fee.
FORMAT: The format will depend on how many teams are registered. If there are 8 teams we will use the pool play format with each team playing 3 games then the top 2 teams from each pool advancing to the Championship on Sunday. If 6 teams register there will be 2 pools of 3 teams playing crossover games against the opposite pool. The overall top 2 teams will advance to the Championship. In case of ties after pool play, the following system will be utilized, in this order: team record including ties, head to head outcome (*NOTE if there are more than 2 teams tied the head to head will be dropped); fewest runs allowed; total runs scored.
BALLS: Each team is to provide 2 new baseballs per game.
GAME LENGTH: The games will be 6 innings with no new inning after 1 hour for 8 year olds and 1:30 minutes for 9 and older ages. There will be a 2 hour time limit for the championship games.
PITCHING: There are no pitching limitations.
LINE-UPS: Teams may bat continuous with free substitutions, bat only 9 or bat 9 with an Extra Hitter (EH).
