Event Awards: 1st Place: Team Plaque, Individual Awards ( baseballs, medals, or home plate plaque). 2nd Place: Team Plaque, Individual Awards (baseballs, medals, or award bats).
Championship Berths: Top 2 finishers qualify for the 2009 Steamboat (CO) World Series, the Grand Junction World Series (16u/18u), the Triple Crown Finals in Myrtle Beach (SC), the Las Vegas (NV) Fall Nationals, and the St. Augustine (FL) Fall Nationals.
Equipment Required: Baseballs will be supplied. Please bring a positive attitude and team work.

History
The Triple Crown Thanksgiving Spectacular @ Disney’s Wide World of Sports® Complex SOLD OUT in 2007 with 60 teams. Another 12 teams were turned away!
Triple Crown Baseball chose Disney's Wide World of Sports® Complex as the venue for this event you and your family will never forget. November 27-30, 2008, the Triple Crown Thanksgiving Spectacular at Disney's Wide World of Sports® Complex will provide plenty of excitement for the whole family. There is no need to qualify for this tournament, so start making your plans now to attend. Everyone's welcome ! Here is some key information on this exciting fourth year event. Games will start Thanksgiving Day at 12 pm for age groups drawing 8 or more teams. Teams will only play one game on Thursday, either a 12 pm or 2 pm. ALL OTHER AGE GROUPS WILL START FRIDAY MORNING BETWEEN 8-9 AM.
Format : 4 game guarantee for all teams, with several teams getting 5-7 games.
ALL OUT OF STATE TEAMS AND FL TEAMS TRAVELING OVER 65 MILES MUST BOOK AT LEAST 20 INDIVIDUAL PACKAGES WITH ANTHONY TRAVEL. PACKAGES START AT ONLY $305 PER PERSON FOR OUT OF STATE TEAMS AND INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING :
* 4 game minimum with several teams getting 5-7 games
* Minimum 3 nights stay at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. Packages offered include 3, 4, and 5 night stays.
* Park passes for 2, 3, or 4 days admission to WALT DISNEY WORLD® Theme Parks. A 2-day VALUE Ticket is also offered.
* Credential or length of event ticket for each participant or spectator and admission to games.
* Baseballs will be provided for tournament games.
* Special awards presentation on Sunday, November 30th.
* Team insurance
Entry Fees For Florida Teams: Florida teams planning to stay overnight, will be offered packages that include park passes for 1, 2, 3, or 4 days admission to WALT DISNEY WORLD® Theme Parks, along with 3, 4, or 5 nights stay at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort. Only Orlando area teams not staying over and not purchasing theme park tickets, will be charged a flat team entry fee of $600. All other FL teams needing lodging are required to purchase at least 20 packages per team from Anthony Travel ( each player and coach must purchase a package ). Any person not purchasing an individual package will have to pay the following gate fees for a 3 day pass : $29.25 for adults and $21.75 for kids.
Special Awards Presentation after each Championship game on Sunday (done on the field)
Age Groups Offered : 8U Kid Pitch, 9U - 18U ( there is no 17U division ). We will play National Federation HS rules in all age groups
Minimum Players Per Team Required : 10
