New 11U squad for the Fall 2015 - Spring/Summer 2016 Seasons. Good core group of players and families. We are looking for 5 or 6 players. All positions are considered, particularly interested in catchers, middle infielders and outfielders. Of course the more arms the better. We will practice out of East Cobb as soon as the Fall season starts. Position coach is is ex Minor League MLB player and Assistant Coach will be paid with no player on the team.

ECB TEAM WILSON 11U
Staff -
Team Manager Scott Scaggs - 5 years coaching experience - Player on Team
Handle day to day baseball operations .... All scheduling (Tournaments, Practices, position specific training, speed and agility) Communication with Parents, Uniforms, Recruiting, Youth Volunteer Programs.
Team Coach Robert (Bob) Brucato - Player on Team
Baseball Experience:
· Played at Mission Viejo HS in Southern California. 1985 So Cal High School Baseball Player of the Year. Led MVHS to the California State Championship game. Went 12-0 as a pitcher and batted .485 leading the county in hits with 45 and RBI with 35.
· Played 2 years for Don Sneddon (All Time Winningest Coach in JC History) at Santa Ana JC in So Cal as a 2-time All State OF. Drafted by the Chicago Cubs as a Sophomore in the 34th Round. Still own most 5 hit games in a single season with 3.
· Played 1 year at Northwestern University. All Big 10 player after hitting .351 with 15 HR and 51 RBI along with a 6-1 record, 1.98 ERA and 6 saves. Still own the single-season HR record and ERA is 3rd all-time. Drafted in the 6th round by the San Diego Padres.
· Played 4 years in the minor leagues as a Pitcher with both San Diego and KC in the Northwest League, South Atlantic League, Florida State League, and Gulf Coast League. Had major RT Shoulder reconstruction which ended career.
Coaching Experience:
· Coached 3 years Varsity Baseball at my Alma Mater, Mission Viejo HS. Worked as a coach in winter sessions both at Santa Ana College and Northwestern University.
· Private Lessons on all aspects of baseball since 1993
· Coached Youth Baseball in San Diego, Nor Cal, and Kennesaw over the last 6 years as my son has played in the local baseball programs.
· Studied baseball religiously on techniques settling on “rotational” hitting and pitching philosophies.
· Love teaching all aspects of the game of baseball from technique to the mental strategic side.
· A “practice fanatic” to drill fundamentals into all players.
Team Position Coach - TBD - NO PLAYER ON TEAM - PAID POSITION
This position is in the interview/negotiation stage. We have been in communication with established and respected baseball "Minds" inside Formidable organizations within Forsyth and Cobb County. This position will be filled with a "High Level" professional to compliment Bob Brucato and our Goals as a Team.
Everyone will have a job and a common Goal ..... Individual Player Development within a Constructive Team Atmosphere.
We will post more information regarding workouts and/or updates on the coaching status asap.

ECB TEAM WILSON promotes kids that play football during the Fall. This typically gives us a better athlete during the Spring and Summer. Our Fall roster will compensate and we will play some "Sunday Only" tournaments to help fit the profile. The dedicated baseball players will not miss out as those open Saturday's will be filled with workouts and Scrimmages .... or maybe the occasional TEAM trip to watch their TEAMMATES play Football.

Any player interested in tonight's tryouts that did not "Early Register" can go on the ECB Team Wilson website, follow the 11U tabs, print and fill out the try-out form. Bring the try-out form and a check for $110 to ECB tonight 6pm-8pm on Field #6. Please be a little early as tryouts actually start at 6pm.

ECB TEAM WILSON 11U RED will have an indoor pitching and hitting workout Thursday 07/16/2015 @ the ECB ACADEMY 6-8PM. Please bring all gear. Due to time and space, The first 30 players to respond will be priority. Please acknowledge and respond as to your desired attendance.

ECB TEAM WILSON 11U RED appreciates the turn out on a very hot Saturday for the Team Wilson 11/12U workouts at River Ridge HS this past Saturday. We had considerably more 12U players than 11U, but some good prospects nonetheless.
The next and Final group workout for ECB will be Saturday 8/1 @ 9:30am - 3:30pm on Field #6. If you are interested in ECB Team Wilson and have missed some of the other workouts and/or maybe not heard from any team management, please forward me your information so We can keep an eye out.
We are down to a couple of spots and will be very specific as to what is needed to complete puzzle.
All positions considered, but Catchers, SS and Seasoned OF will get first looks.

ECB TEAM WILSON 11U RED will have an open team workout at River Ridge High School 12 Noon to 2pm this Sunday 08/09/2015.
All positions are attainable for the right player. We are in need of some depth in the Catcher and SS positions ..... and of course Arms are always needed.
Please respond asap as to attendance so we can gauge drills and assessments.
Please be prompt and bring all gear.
