"Top 10" reasons your son should tryout for our 11u Travel Baseball Team:
10. We are guaranteed to go to Cooperstown in 2017. Not every team is guaranteed a spot like this team is! Just imagine a "Baseball World Series" for young boys. It is an opportunity of a lifetime that you and your family will never forget!
9. A team of 3 seasoned coaches, lead by coach Steve Tessereau who are dedicated to the game and your son being the best that he can be.
8. We have outside expert coaching ranging from a MLB player to batting and catching experts ready to elevate your son's ability to the next level. Jared Walker, played for head coach Tessereau's team and is the (5th) Round Draft Pick by the L.A. DODGERS straight out of McEachern High School. Jared will be dropping by to help with some of the practices through the end of February 2016 before he goes to MLB Spring Training.
7. We offer a Daddy Ball Free Zone. None of the coaches have children on the team.
6. In the Spring of 2016, we will be playing on brand new fields at Powder Springs Park. The Atlanta Braves sponsored the development of these fields and facilities and they both will be awesome.
5. Our travel ball team costs are very affordable. Our core coaching staff is NOT paid so our annual costs are up to 30% less than other teams.
4. Starting in Spring, the team will be play 3 tournaments a month with 1 weekend off. This provides a weekend break for both the boys and the families.
3. If selected, your son can join a team of young boys who love the game of baseball and will all grow together. We are building the team right now so it is a great time to join.
2. There is a two year commitment to the team to ensure continuity among the team.
1. Did we mention a guaranteed trip to Cooperstown? Coach Steve and his assistants, have gone 6 times and says the experience of playing in this tournament is unbelievable. Just ask other families who have gone and they will confirm it is a top notch tournament. Family members have their own dugout to watch the games so it is comfortable for all. Kids stay with the coaches and other team members in barracks like a summer camp.
If selected by the Powder Springs Storm coaching team, your son will receive all of the above. We are looking for a dedicated, hard working talented pitcher/infielder/middle outfielder who wants to join our family and go on a once in a lifetime trip to Cooperstown in 2017.
