Silver Spartans Baseball, a AA/rising AAA caliber team that plays out of Sharon Springs Park, has a definite position open for a fundamentally sound catcher. The player would be expected to be the #1 or #2 catcher, and there is also the opportunity to earn a spot in the Sunday rotation on the mound. This is a 10 player/11 player tops roster (currently at 9) so there will be plenty of playing time in the field as well.
Winter workouts are held in Alpharetta just off Hwy 400 on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and tryouts are ASAP on those dates until the roster is full. A private workout can be arranged if needed. HC has 25+ years coaching experience and played college ball, and primary AC has 10+ years experience as a HC and AC.
One spot left. Will look at any position, earn playing time anywhere on the field. Workouts with the team occur on Wednesday nights at 7pm, and Saturday afternoons at 3pm in Alpharetta. Reduced player costs for spring. All tourneys will be played within approximately an hour of Cumming. Play against high level competition in Triple Crown, Grand Slam, and Southern Sports tourneys only.
