The Sequoyah Jr Chiefs Baseball Club is currently scheduling tryouts for the upcoming 2016-2017 season. Our first tryouts for anyone interested in our program will be as follows:
Saturday: July 9th, July 16th & July 25th (Rain Day Makeup)
9U: 8:30 - 10:15
10U: 10:15 - 12:00
11U: 12:00 - 1:30
12U: 1:30 - 3:00
13U: 3:00 - 4:30
14U: 4:30 - 6:00
Tuesday July 12th:
9/10: 6:00 - 8:00
11/12: 8:00 - 10:00
Thursday July 14th:
13U: 6:00 - 7:30
14U: 7:30 - 9:00
Offers and roster decisions will be made on or before July 27th and posted on our club website @ www.jrchiefsbaseball.com.
The Sequoyah Jr Chiefs Baseball Club is a private Club that feeds into Sequoyah High school. Our private park features:
• Our own field
• New 3,000 SF concession stand
• New men’s and women’s conditioned bathrooms
• Campus wide Wi-Fi
• Tournament monitors
We also just completed construction on a new 4,000 SF conditioned indoor hitting facility featuring:
• Professional style locker room
• Coaches Lounge
• Guest Lobby
• Bathroom
• Three retractable hitting lanes with pitching machine, mounds, screens and baseballs
All age groups under our program are provided with professional instruction, access to our facilities, state of the art baseball gear and a preventative injury program that includes our partnership with Muscle Performance Science. Each team is comprised of districted Sequoyah HS players as well as up to four (4) out of district players in an effort to assemble the most competitive team in our area.
The Sequoyah Jr Chiefs Baseball Club is located at 2066 Sugar Pike Rd Woodstock, GA 30188, where ALL home games and practices will be held. The Jr Chiefs Program is one of the area’s fastest growing programs in the area due to the commitment of our current Board members and the support from our community.
There is a $25 fee for tryouts and all participants can register and pay on our website at www.jrchiefsbaseball.com

| This team will play a AAA schedule in the Spring of 2017. We are looking for AAA/Major players for the makeup of this squad. This team will compete in USSSA AAA tournaments and plan to make another trip to the World Series in June of 2017. |

Our squad is looking for athletic players that have competitive baseball experience and are willing to learn, work hard and earn a spot on our team. We cater to athletes that play other sports in the off-season and plan our training, practice and tournaments around those sports in the fall and winter. We will play a 50-55 game schedule for the combined fall and spring season competing primarily in USSSA Tournaments at the AAA level and intend on qualifying and playing in the USSSA World Series in Florida.
Our squad will have a light fall schedule consisting of indoor pitching/hitting instruction, outdoor practices, professional instruction and a few tournaments. The fall workouts will be held indoors at our private facility and outdoor practices will be held at our own private field. Our organization was established in 2008 and has a history of developing athletic kids into solid baseball players that have gone on to play high school and college baseball. Our program is not only endorsed by the Sequoyah High School coach, Travis King, they workout at our facility, evaluate our teams, host camps and is a key contributor to our baseball operations. Our mission is to teach, mentor and prepare athletes to compete and play baseball for their high school team and will do that through a strong roster comprised of athletes that are both in and out of our high school district.

| We have been asked multiple times regarding a requirement to attend one or multiple tryouts. We require attendance to at least one tryout but encourage attending more than one if your schedule allows, as our tryout format is more of a workout than tryout. In addition, if the published dates conflict with prior plans than you can email Michael direct at mcostoulas@gmail.com to schedule a private workout. |

As our first tryout date approaches tomorrow, you can pre-register on our website at www.jrchiefsbaseball.com and select the tryout tab. This will speed up the check-in process tomorrow.
Please arrive at tryouts 30 mins prior to our tryout time so we can get the players properly warmed up. |

Our second Saturday Tryout is tomorrow at 10:15am. You can preregister at www.jrchiefsbaseball.com and select the Tryout tab. This will speed up check-in tomorrow morning. If you cannot register online than you can walk-up, register and pay on site at our concession area as we accept credit/debit cards.
If you cannot attend and need a private workout please contact Michael at mcostoulas@gmail.com to get one scheduled.
