The 10U East Cobb Astros Orange will be holding tryouts for our 2017/18 season over the next couple of weeks. We are a Majors level team looking to add a few key players that have great attitudes and a desire to get pushed by some of the best talent around at every practice and every game.
Any interest and inquiries will be held confidential.
The first workout will be held on Monday, July 3rd at 6:30pm. If you'd like to be a part of this tryout date, please email me ASAP. Also, if you have any questions, feel free to reach out for more information.

Formally East Cobb Brewers. East Cobb asked if we would represent the Astros name moving forward and it seemed to be a good fit. We have an excellent relationship with all of the upper management and ownership at ECB and would be able to answer any questions you may have as well as set up workouts for the upcoming season. We can also recommend pitching, hitting and fielding trainers here at ECB. Any questions please feel free to ask. We will continue to put a dominant team on the field combined with years of youth coaching experience and a great family environment!! |

This seems a bit confusing. There was a post from Joe Dawson claiming to be the Astros for next year. Will this be a combined team with him, or just the Brewers in a different uniform? Seems either ECB is a bit concerned on who the Astros will be since the old Astros have left the park or trying to keep players in the park. I guess desperate times call for desperate measures. Just wondering who we may tryout for if not for both teams then why have separate tryouts? Just really confused by all this, sorry for the long post. |

I'm sorry if there was confusion. There will be 2 Astros teams at 10U next year out of ECB. Joe has one team, and I have the other. Both will be well coached, have great kids and families and will be majors level competition. If you have interest for your child to play at that level, both will be strong options. ECB has proven to be a place for great players to come together and get better. Nothing has changed there at all. Should you have any other questions, always feel free to reach out to me directly, or Joe for that matter. We're both open and available. |
