Hobgood Braves Red 10U team began playing in the spring of 2017. The coaching staff has professional baseball playing experience, over 50 seasons of coaching experience, including the highest level of Florida HS baseball, several years of travel and All-Star baseball.
This is a marathon, not a sprint. The worst thing that we can imagine is killing a player's love for the game. Pace is a major contributor towards burnout at this age, so we take a slower pace than many travel programs. We encourage our players to be multi-sport participants and our schedule allows for such through the fall and winter.
Our intention for the 2017-2018 season is to play AAA tournaments.
Tryout schedule:
Saturday, July 15th 9:30AM - 12:30PM, Registration begins at 9:00

No charge for tryouts. Individual tryouts are possible for scheduling conflicts. |

| If your son is experiencing travel ball burnout, we may be exactly what you're looking for. Try out for the Braves. Let him continue to grow as a baseball player at a slower pace. We've had majors players migrate into our program and continue to get quality coaching at a controlled pace, with fantastic feedback and glowing recommendations. |

Tryouts will be located on Field 11. It's located to the left of Bascomb Elementary (easiest Google Maps location for reference). Here is a link to a mini map that I put together for your convenience.

| With the rain that we've had through the evening, we're going to push our tryouts to 11:30 on Field 12 (just to the left). We'll be there in the morning to make sure that everybody receives word. Registration will begin at 11:00, tryouts at 11:30. |
