The Fellowship of Christian Athletes- rising 12u team are looking for 2017/2018 players. We are an established team under the FCA/Hitters park organization and are a 2018 Cooperstown team. We have a strong base of families creating a driven, competitive and fun environment for our players.
Team and Organization Includes
•FCA positive player and family environment focused on leadership development on and off the field
•Preferential use of the Hitters Park facility for winter and weather days as well as individual instruction
•Cooperstown Team Certificate: Deposit and Application already completed & accepted
•12u FCA team is based out of the Fowler Park for practice and league games
Coaching Approach and Instruction:
Provide the highest quality instruction and oversight through experienced MLB Players and Youth coaches partnering to develop kids.
•Experienced independent coach (no players on team) will join the staff in 2018 to provide oversight on roster decisions and run weekly workouts.
•Pete Smith (Former MLB player and Atlanta Braves Pitcher) is on staff for 2018 to provide weekly on field/game oversight as well an individual instruction with our players.
•Bran Austin and Robbie Morrison at Hitters Park provide hitting and pitching instruction. Bran has coached several successful D1 players in our area and Robbie is a former MLB player and University of Miami hall of fame pitcher.
•Staff rounded out with experienced set of volunteers with over 20 combined years of coaching youth sports to support the coaching plan and manage day to day the baseball operations.
TRYOUT DATES AND TIMES:
FCA Open Tryouts:
•Wednesday, July 12th: Rising 11U and 12U: 7-9pm
•Sawnee Mountain Park Field #5 (3995 Watson Road Cumming, GA 30028)
Private 12u Tryouts:
•Please email fcahitterspark@gmail.com to request and schedule a private workout.
•We will schedule a workout likely at our home field: Fowler Park.
** Players may be asked to come back for additional evaluation on Saturday, July 15th or Sunday, July 16th.

Open Tryout/Workout Tomorrow

FCA Hitters Park will focus on player development in the Fall/Winter including Speed and Agility through the Elite Athlete Training Facility. Two to Three fall Tournaments with individual lessons on Pitching and Hitting. Practice schedule encourages participation in other fall/winter sports.
Spring will consist of two practices per week with up to 10 Tournaments alongside some weekday games/scrimmages.
Season capstone tournament at Cooperstown. Multiple fund raisers already in motion to help offset the cost. |

We will have coaches at Sawnee Mtn. Park tomorrow (Saturday July 15th) at 9am working out a group of kids. If you want to swing by and join us you are welcome.
