9U Cherokee Reds will be holding 2 open tryouts for the 2017-2018 season. You cannot be 10 years old on May 1st 2018 to be drafted.
We will Practice out of Barnett Park in Canton The best thing that we can hope for is fostering a player's love for the game while improving their skills. Pace is a major contributor towards burnout at this age, so we take that into consideration when building the program. We encourage our players to be multi-sport participants. We will have a light schedule this Fall and Winter, so if you play football, basketball, etc. you will be able to still do so.
Our intention for the 2017-2018 season is to play in AA tournaments and gradually move up to AAA.
