The 8U Archer Tigers will hold tryouts for the Fall 2017/ Spring 2018 team on Sunday July 16 from 3-5 and Saturday July 22 from 3-5 on Field 3.

There is no fee to tryout fort this team. We are however looking for experienced travel players or All Stars with pitching experience. So that we can plan accordingly, please send an email to dustyhayes9@gmail.com with the following information.

Our plan for the fall is to practice some, mostly on Wednesday to accommodate the players who participate in fall sports and those schedules, and to try to find a couple one day tournaments to play on Sunday or maybe a scrimmage or 2 later in the fall season. The goal is to have these kids ready to play 8U kid pitch tournaments when spring rolls around. Developing pitchers who throw strikes consistently and getting the kids acclimated with seeing kid pitch (some for the first time) will be the most important thing we work on this fall.
In the spring we plan to practice twice a week during the week and play in at least 2 tournaments a month on the weekends starting in March wrapping up before July 1. Depending on our success in tournament bracket play we should be able to get these boys approximately 30 games or so.
