The 17u Central Park Bulldog Travel baseball team out of Cumming, GA is looking to fill a couple of open roster spots.
We are a team dedicated to providing an affordable alternative to much more expensive travel teams while providing more playing time for your player and helping offset a very short high school season.
Our season runs from August 2017 through mid July 2018.
Fall will consist of weekly practices (Sunday afternoons) and 2 possibly three tournaments end of September and October.
We will take a holiday break from November through December.
The spring season practices will begin mid January. We will have two practices per week through the end of May. Games/tournaments will not begin until the high school JV season concludes (based on the NFHS schedule). This is generally the week following spring beak. Once school concludes, we will add an additional weekly practice for the months of June and July.
Our tournament schedule will run from mid April through mid July. We look to play at least 1 USSSA tournament, 3 Triple Crown tournaments, 2 Perfect Game tournaments and at least 1 showcase type tournament. These will al be within driving distance. We will conclude our season with a tournament out of state in mid July (probably in Nashville, TN). This will be 20 games, possibly more depending on play and weather.
As with all teams, we are looking for pitching. In addition, we are still looking for a primary catcher, utility infielder and utility outfielder
We play out of Central Park/Bennett Park/Coal Mountain Park in Cumming, GA.
