The Georgia Storm is a rising 15U team out of Cherokee County that plays a robust schedule at an extremely low cost for families. Our team is a bit different in that our sole purpose is advancing our players' status with their high school teams. We work with each player (and their parents) on an individual basis identifying and addressing weaknesses, providing honest assessments and establishing attainable short and longer-term goals with the overriding objective of enhancing their status on their high school teams. Our practices often occur in smaller groups where we can focus more on individual needs. We do our utmost to have each player at their preferred positions. We strongly believe that players this age must hone their skills at positions for which they are best suited. We carry a smaller roster to ensure ample playing time. Yes, this does compromise our competitiveness a bit in stronger tourneys as our pitching is shallow, but again, we are strictly about advancing our players' standing with their high school teams.
We wish to build upon our solid core by adding three very hard-working players for the fall season. We will play an aggressive schedule this fall. We are holding only private tryouts at this time as we go through extensive efforts to ensure each of our players will exact a great benefit from our program.
