I know it may seem rare, but when they get into HS ( which is only 2 yrs away) they'll be playing usually only one position......not 3 and 4 like at this age now. Anyone serious about excelling at pitching will definitely get their work in as a PO. CaCO3Girl......do you have a pitcher?

I would encourage you to NOT have PO's at 13. It is still suppose to be a game, don't take that from them, they are suppose to still be learning.
I have a 10th grader pitcher who is still not a PO, and yet that will be where his baseball future takes him. He plays more than one position on both his high school and travel team, and both are VERY highly rated.
