GRAND SLAM PRESENTS THE #TPSTRONG BENEFIT TOURNAMENT
Please read below as this would be a great event to play in and show your support for a great man where 100% of the $$$ Raised will go to the #TPSTRONG Foundation!
Grand Slam Sports Tournaments invites EVERYONE to sign up for the #TPSTRONG Benefit Fall Baseball Classic, September 30-October 1 in LaGrange, Georgia. 100% of ALL Proceeds will go directly to the #TPSTRONG Foundation. The #TPSTRONG Foundation was set up to aid Coach Tommy Parks and his family. Tommy is the head football and baseball coach at Upson-Lee High School in Thomaston, Georgia. He formally coached at at Manchester HS and Harris County HS as well. Tommy has been a long time friend of Grand Slam Owner & CEO, Larry Thompson, Jr and just this past Summer joined the Grand Slam Family helping run events. Grand Slam VP, Jonathan Thompson, played for Tommy at Harris County and has coached under Tommy the past 6-years at Harris County and Upson Lee. On Friday, July 7th, Tommy suffered a massive heart attack at the age of 45. Complications from the heart attack also caused an anoxic brain injury. Tommy is currently being treated at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, Georgia and the road to recovery will be a very long one. It's in times like these that the Grand Slam Family steps up to help our friends!
This event will be a 2018 Grand Slam World Series qualifier and a Double Race for the Grand Slam Cup points event. Entry fee is $400 and admission will be $8 for adults and $6 for kids 13-17 and adults 65-older. 12-Under will be admitted free of charge.
OPEN TO ALL AGE DIVISIONS FROM 8-U COACH PITCH, 8-U KID PITCH, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U, 14U, 15U, 16U & 18U. We will find venues in and around LaGrange to play ALL of these age divisions as they start to make. This will be an open event.
8U Coach Pitch will register under the 8UA tab and 8U KP teams will register under the 8U Open tab.
We will award the top-2 teams in each age division with the now famous Grand Slam Bat Trophy and our one of kind Championship rings.
#TPSTRONG T-Shirts will be on sale where 100% of the money raised for the sale of the shirts also goes to the #TPSTRONG Foundation. We will also have a silent auction going on all weekend with one of a kind autographed memorabilia from superstars of the NFL and MLB! Again, 100% of ALL MONEY RAISED at this event will go to the #TPSTRONG foundation!
