What about, Gamers Red over EP Mets. Maybe the sleeper, an Elite showdown Gamers over Rips in 6. 4-3 defense matchup |

OP has a legit team that can hit and play defense. Many blowouts in this one, I guess when there are so few teams you can't seperate by class. |

They went 1-3 with two losses to the Gamers Red (12-1 & 12-4) and one loss to OP (12-0). They beat the EP Mets (13-11). |

like i said back on may 21st @ 737pm. Oregon Park in a nail-bitter against Elite Gamers Red 7-4. I've seen and played against the two teams. Oregon Park is very feisty and know how to win the big one |

No doubt OP is a solid team all the way around. As many probably know, the big difference between the top 9U teams and AA teams is PITCHING. More specifically, pitching depth. Consistant defense is a close second. On a given day, some AA teams can compete but its tough throughout an entire tournament. |

The SP Explosion finsihed 3rd with a big win over the EP Mets and had the lead on the Gamers Red until a late inning rally. Game was alot closer than the score. SP is one to two shut down pitchers away from becoming a legitimate 9U team. Definitely a team to watch in the future. We faced the Explosion in an earlier tournament and was impressed with the fight in the players. Bats are strong too.
As you well know, the scores are posted on USSSA website! |

Can the SP Explosion play with the Georgia Braves in AA? They also came in 3rd this past weekend playing up. Beat the OTC Bearcats in a close one and played the Signature Park Falcons to the wire in 2 games. |

The Braves are obviously a very good team, but I think the Xplosion would match up well with them. We haven't crossed paths with them in any of our tournaments so far, but I'm guessing that we will eventually. Maybe in USSSA sub state or state. I think the two teams are close enough talent-wise that it would be a very close contest, and a lot of fun to watch. |
