Just wanted to wish you and the boy's good luck in La. Bring home the Hardware. But most of all have FUN!! I will be tracking you during the tournament. Also you have a score to settle (friendly one) with the Banditos...LOL
Also while your down there. Take a look at the San Antonio Devils. They are going to Colorado to the TC World Series like us and I would like to know a little bit about them. Thanks in advance.

Caif baseball.. I got a chance to see the San Antonio Devils.. I don't think u guys will have a hard time with them. they can and will hit the ball hard, but they tend to fizzle out late in the game due to very mediocore pitching. that being said, they are good in the in and out field and can run the bases fairly well. They just need a couple of stud pitchers to become complete. The banditos beat them with some ease, even though the Devils jumped on them early with a 220ft.HR. Hit me back |

Congrats to the Ga Yard Dogs on bringing home the Hardware in a Hard fought win in the Title game against the Banditos Black in the Super NIT in La. Yard Dogs proved they are one of the Top Elite teams in the Nation at 9U. With this win it shows how hard your boy's have worked since last years 8U World Series.
Good Luck the rest of the Year..

Thanks for the Report. I heard they had a good team but are lacking a couple of all around studs. My buddy has the DBAT team out of Dallas,Tx. he told me about them but hadn't seen them in a while. It is to bad the Avenger VI Force did not go to the SNIT. From what I hear they are the best team in Texas. The Chino Hills Storm played them at the Triple Crown World Series in Colorado last year and they beat them 9-0. The Storm won the 8U world series in colorado.
Tell me is Team Miami all that? I have been told by a Travelball Reporter from a baseball magazine that he covered them in Fla. and that the top teams in Calif. would beat them. It's baseball so I took it for what it is worth. We are going to get reorginized after Colorado. We are planning a busy schedule for next years 10U. Cooperstown(NY),Elites(FL),Fall Nationals(Vegas),USSSA spring Nationals (AZ) and the big one National Youth Baseball Championships(Tenn) Of course we need to qualify for a few of them.
Hopefully our teams will get together and play each other. Would be a lot of fun!!
Take Care

Team Miami is a hard team to figure out. They are not big, not fast, but they do everything right(all the time). They have enough pitching to get them to the semi's and finals, thats when they pull out the big dogs. If you have a strong pitcher that can stay on those corners than it may frustrate them some, so does trash pitching, but as soon as you come down the middle, get ready for batting practice( no matter how fast the pitching is). They beat us @ 7 in WS championship game and we beat them last year @ 8 in semi-finals. This year the game was rained out in Tampa. Yeah i've heard about that Texas team Avengers. I hear they have a couple stud pitchers. Usually we can catch them around the 2nd or 3rd inning, and if they haven't scored any runs by them watch out, thats usually when we start getting around on the ball |
