The 10U South Paulding Xplosion will be conducting tryouts for the 2011 season on Saturday, July 31 and Sunday, August 1 at 3 PM. The tryouts will take place at New Georgia Park in Dallas, GA. Interested players must contact Bryan Powell (xline_bpowell@bellsouth.net) or Matt Adkins (mladkins44@gmail.com) to register for a specific date. Both days are not required. For the 2011 season, the coaching staff is looking to field two competitive teams (Xplosion Gold and Xplosion Blue). We expect a good turnout and many roster spots are available.
In its first travel season, the Xplosion was 5-time tournament champions which included the USSSA 9AA Georgia State Championship. Check out the website (www.spxplosion.com) for the team's accomplishments. This is a hard working, dedicated group of players and families that enjoy being at the ballpark. We anticipate playing a limited fall tournament schedule and a 60-game spring schedule culminating in a world series event. We play mostly in North Georgia, Metro Atlanta, and Eastern Alabama with limited overnight travel possible. |

| Are there going to be any make-up dates if we aren't able to make it on those dates? |

A follow-up tryout/practice will likely take place in order to take a 2nd look at some players, however a date has not yet been set. If interested but can not make July 31 or August 1, please contact Matt or Bryan to discuss alternate dates.

We will be meeting on Field 2 which is the first field on the left as you enter the park. Please arrive early enough to complete a short form and allow your player to warm up prior to 3 PM.

Reminder tryouts are scheduled for this Saturday, July 31 and Sunday, August 1 at 3PM. We are looking to form two teams and roster spots are open on each team.
For those who have responded but can't make next weekend's tryouts, we are working to confirm a 2nd tryout date and will post soon. |
