Like we've said on the field and on this post...It's baseball and on any given day the teams listed can all "Bring it"! Some of the best talent out there at such a young age.

I'm just proud to be a part of a great group of 10U's. These boys will be competing for years to come...into high school and beyond with our support and coaching.

Plainsmen,

To back up Sooner's point, we have beaten your #1, #2, #4, #5, #7 and #10. Now, your #1, #2, #5 #7 and #9 have also beaten us. We have only played your #4 and #10 once each...and haven't played your #6 or #8.

That was just the long version of saying there is great parity in this division and that's why I love coaching in this age group. It's a great challenge to step on the field with any of the teams listed here...and many that aren't listed. We try to teach our boys that they are not good enough to just show up and win, but you have to respect every opponent like they are the '27 Yankees.

As a coach, I still get nervous before every game, no matter who we are playing. We stay away from "titles" in general..."top ten", "major", "AAA", "AA" are all banned terminology in the SP Camp. Exceptions are made when I, on extremely rare occassions, pull the right strings...terms like "wonderful and all-knowing coach" are allowed in those instances. LOL

Plainsmen, your list looks pretty acurate from #1-#5, plus Homeplate. after that, it's a coin toss. I've watched alot of competitive 10U games this year and there are four very intersting teams to add to this mix. 1. Elite Gamers RWB (very consistent, good defense and has beaten most team in your top 10) 2.Ga Raiders (seemed like a different team from the one I saw in early March. Looked like the Raiders team from previous yrs) 3. Buckhead Brave- watched them at TC state. fundamentally sound in every area) 4. SF Giants- (looked like a world beater early on then faded. Still very good team with a potent offense) I agree with HS, alot of parity in this age group. Lets see who keeps their core going into Fall and 2013.
