If these team rules align with you, please contact me @ tim.pietro.storm@gmail.com.

1. Always hustle – give 100% while participating whether it is in practice or in games. There is no substitute for hustle. We want teams to know they are in for a battle and received our best effort when they play us.
2. We will not tolerate “hot dogs”, players who “mouth off”, throw bats, helmets, or gloves; cause team problems, act immature, “show boat” on or off the field; and other things of this nature. Continued misbehavior could eventually mean dismissal from the team. REMEMBER – you are representing yourself as a person, your teammates and our program.
3. You must be a successful student in the classroom. Be certain to do your part to maintain a satisfactory relationship between yourself and your teachers so that you may continue in the baseball program.
4. All practices are very important; therefore, you must attend them unless you have a good reason for missing and you update TEAMSNAP in advance. Do not send word with someone else. Anytime you are in doubt regarding practices or games, be responsible enough to contact your coach to find out for certain. Be early to all practices so you are dressed and ready to begin when practice starts – 4pm practice doesn’t mean get there at 4pm…
5. Your conduct in and out of baseball must be that of gentlemen. Any kind of behavior that brings discredit to you or the team will not be tolerated.
6. You must be receptive to change. We do many things in our program that are contrary to what you have done previously. So, your success depends very much upon how readily you adapt. This is what being “coachable” means. Our goal is to prepare everyone for High School Baseball.
7. Everyone must keep busy at all practices – hustle all the time, shag foul balls when on deck in batting practice, swing the bat many many times while on deck waiting to hit, constant tee work, etc. There is ALWAYS something to work on.
8. There will be no “horseplay” at anytime! The safety of everyone is our primary concern, but equally critical, “horseplay” is a decaying factor that destroys the mental attitude necessary to become an excellent player and an excellent team.
9. Every year, most high school students are given all kinds of coaching advice and coaching tips from people who are not concerned with the team. Some of this is good, but most is not. You must be mature and knowledgeable enough to sort it out. Anything you hear that is contrary to what we will do will not fit in the system.
10. The TEAM is most important! Everything we do in baseball is for the team. Good team men are hard to find, but individuals are a dime a dozen.
11. Your improvement depends on your ability to accept criticism. Do not make excuses, pout or be a crybaby. When your coach stops criticizing, you are in trouble.
12. Cell phones are not permitted once we are dressed for practice and/or a game. Exceptions can be made, but make sure to ask your coach first.
13. Players will not argue balls/strikes or any other calls with the umpires. Umpires will be dealt with by the coaching staff. Be a class act.
14. During our Spring/Summer season, players must attend at a minimum 80% of our practices to participate in tourneys. Individual workouts can help make up, if needed.
15. We expect every player to work outside of practices on their baseball skills both physically and MENTALLY.
