The Alpharetta Braves 9u travel baseball program will be holding tryouts for the Spring 2019 season! We are looking for multi sport athletes who plan on devoting their entire Spring 2019 season (some Winter 2018 workouts as well) to travel baseball!
Our program is lead by a former professional baseball player in the Florida (now Miami) Marlins organization. All of the coaches either played college baseball or professionally! This 9u team will be coached by a former Kennesaw State University player who will NOT HAVE A KID ON THE TEAM! No daddy ball in this program!
The focus on this team is player development. Focusing on the fundamentals of the game...as well as...building a work ethic that will be useful in baseball and in the real world later in life! There will be on-field practices (in Johns Creek) and a weekly indoor hitting practice in Alpharetta (off McFarland Pkwy).
There will be no Fall season...as we encourage kids to play other sports! There will be winter/indoor workouts in Dec/Jan...and then on field practices will begin in mid February 2019! The season will go until the end of May 2019...possibly into early June 2019.
