The DHYS Middle School baseball league is looking to hire coaches for two "In Park" baseball teams. The teams are comprised of 6th - 8th grade players that attend schools that do not have competitive teams. The teams play in a highly competitive league against east side teams like Renfroe (Decatur), Inman Park (Grady), Druid Hills, Tucker, Paideia, etc.
Tryouts are in late January, and the season lasts until Spring Break. Two practices and 2 games per week, at Medlock Park in Decatur and/or Kelley Cofer Park in Tucker. Very high quality fields and facilities.
This is a paid coaching position.
