East Cherokee Warriors will be holding tryouts for their TWO 12U teams on:
Saturday June 20th from 11:30-1:30pm and Saturday June 27th from 11:30-1:30pm – Mountain Road Elementary School (part of East Cherokee fields are in back of school)

Each player will be put through an extensive evaluation regardless of what position they have been playing in. The evaluations will consist of hitting, pitching, fielding and running. If you have catcher’s gear, please bring that with you as well.
We have coaches that have coached and played baseball with north of 50 years’ experience. We have separate coaches for pitching and catching in order to support players in these specialized areas. We have partnered with Exhibition Athletics to expand our program.
One team is playing at competitive AA tournaments and looking to transition into a few AAA tourneys if the kids are working hard, progressing at the rate to be competitive and we feel we can hold our own. The second team will be playing in A/AA tournaments and transition into a strong AA tournament schedule as the kids come along.
The family dynamic is just as important to have a fun season and these families are friendly and inviting. Please remember these are 12-year-old kids looking to play baseball and not get drafted next week. We work hard with the kids and will play several tourneys in the Fall and then 12+ in the spring. We have access to fields out of Sequoyah Park and an indoor facility as needed so we are not scrambling to find practice space.
