Georgia Bombers Baseball will be holding 10u tryouts for the 2021-22 season on July 12th and July 14th.
We will have two teams at 10u for the 2021-22 season. These teams will be coached again by Charlie Mentzer (Bombers 10u Marucci) and former Chandler Yount (Bombers 10u Victus).
Both teams were very successful this past season in their respective level of play at 9u. Both of our teams are looking for players at tryouts that will help them continue to grow on the field as a team and continue to compete against the best competition in the area and Southeast.
9u (Mentzer) competed deep each weekend bringing home 4 Perfect Game Championships, one Runner Up in Perfect Game, one Runner Up in USSSA and Semi Finalist in the 10u USSSA Gulf Coast World Series. The team conducted a record of 34-11 in the 2020-21 season. The team has their last tournament the weekend of June 25-27 in the USSSA Braves Country Battle.
9u (Yount) had a great year of development under Coach Chandler Yount and his staff playing RBI and Training Legends events. The boys brought home two Championships and three Runners Up finishes while finishing the 2020-21 season with a 19-15-1 record. Coach Yount put a huge emphasis on development this season and the players did a fantastic job of buying in to get better each time they stepped on the field.
We believe 100% that development of skills and baseball IQ starts on the practice field, in the cages and working with the staff of Bombers Baseball. These teams practice more than we play and compete each time they step on the field. Competition begins in practice. Our players will be challenged mentally and physically to prepare them for game situations and long weekends on the field.
