Elite Sluggers 10U, based out of Midway Park in West Forsyth/Cumming, will be holding tryouts at Midway Park for rising 10U players on June 27 and June 29 from 5-7 pm both days. This will be our 2nd season as a team. We just wrapped up a successful 9U season. We have a few openings for Fall 2022/Spring 2023 and we are looking for coachable players who want to be challenged and work hard to improve. This team is focused on development and keeping the game of baseball fun for the players. The ultimate goal with this team is to foster an environment in which the players are challenged to improve with fast moving, competitive practices lead by professional Team Elite Coaches , while simultaneously learning important life lessons and hopefully instilling a love of the game so the players will want to return to play baseball the next season.
All positions are wide-open on this team. We utilize Team Elite pro coaches for our fall, winter, pre-season and spring practices.
The vision for this team is to play three Sunday-only tournaments in the fall. We welcome athletes that play other sports - in fact, we encourage all of our players to play other sports in the fall and winter. Our fall schedule will run September through October. We will take November and December off and reconvene in January for indoor training. We will hit the field as soon as possible in early 2023 as the weather allows. We plan to play eight tournaments in the spring (March, April, May), as well as the RBI Sand Lot league for 8 additional weeknight games. We plan to conclude our season with a destination tournament (looking at the Ripken event in Gatlinburg, TN, but this remains TBD) in early June of 2023. We like to conclude our spring season in early June so players have time to enjoy family vacations, etc.

To register for our tryout you will need to go to the team Elite website and look for Bignon 10U tryouts. You must register online to attend a tryout. You will be given the opportunity to select the location, Midway Park Cumming GA and dates of June 27 and June 29 5pm.
