Check In begins at 5:00, Tryouts begin at 5:30
We will have two teams at 11u for the 2022-23 season. We are working on Professional Coaching for our Bombers 11U Marucci team and supplementing Professional Coaching with Bombers 11U Victus.
Both teams were very successful this past season in their respective level of play at 10u. Both of our teams are looking for players at tryouts that will help them continue to grow on the field as a team and continue to compete against the best competition in the area and Southeast.
10u (Marucci) competed deep each weekend bringing home 2 Perfect Game Championships and finishing the season with a record of 27-12 for the 2021-22 season. The team played at a Majors level, competing against the best of the best around the Southeast week in and week out. Coach Charlie Mentzer and his staff work these players hard and set expectations for them that will push them beyond this level of play to help them be successful as they continue their growth in the game.
10u (Victus) had a great year playing all Training Legends AAA events and a few Tournament 17 events as well. The boys brought home 2 Championships and 1 Runners Up while finishing the 2021-22 season with a 24-21 record which is 5 more wins than 2020-21 where the team played in all RBI / Training Legends AA events. Coach Yount put a huge emphasis on development again this season and the players continued to do a fantastic job of buying in to get better each time they stepped on the field.
We believe 100% that development of skills and baseball IQ starts on the practice field, in the cages and working with the staff of Bombers Baseball. These teams practice more than we play and compete each time they step on the field. Competition begins in practice. Our players will be challenged mentally and physically to prepare them for game situations and long weekends on the field.
