I am please to announce that the North Georgia Crush will be hosting the 2nd Annual Sportsmax Battle in Bartow in cartersville Ga. Feb. 17-19th. Last year's tournament was a huge success with 19 teams coming to Cartersville for a fun weekend of baseball. We expect this year to double in size and again be a fun weekend of baseball. This will be a great opportunity for you guys to see where you are just before the busy tournament season kicks in.
There will be a $100 gate fee per team. This way your parents won't have to be bothered with paying a gate fee each day.
There will be a full concession stand on site. One cooler allowed per team.
Each team will need to provide one new and one playable baseball for each game.
USSSA rules will be in effect. All bat regulations will be enforced. Each team will have to turn in a copy of their team insurance upon signing in at the park. Also, birth certificates will need to be available if needed.
This is our big fundraiser for the season, and last year was a huge success. I think this year is gonna be bigger and better than last year. Once again, this will be a great opportunity to participate in an affordable tournament and get a good idea of the things we need to improve on as we enter the busy tournament season. Come join us for a fun and exciting weekend of baseball.
