As most of us understand concerning USSSA points, they are really only relevant when it comes to seeding and breaking ties. But the power ratings are a bit different. That is unless you have a team that has played a lot of games against lesser talent. No disrespect intended. God has gifted all according to HIS will. Georgia has 3 of the top 4 teams in the nation. This ranking is what most around the nation consider to be an accurate ranking for teams. Of course you have to consider the fact some teams don't play in an abundance of U trip tournaments. But many get to experience exactly what those Florida teams just experienced when one of our best invades another state. The Yarddogs had one slight hiccup, but did all that work without (hands down) the best 8u center fielder in the nation, who didn't make the trip. Georgia youth baseball is serious business.
