Sometimes we need to take the time to say Thanks...
OTC Xplosion 2014 9u major season was a great roller coaster ride. A lot of ups and downs to say the least but definitely a good year overall for this to be the 1st year of real baseball and just our 2nd year playing as a team.
It's a great feeling when you can take a player from point A to point b and keep them hungry to learn more in the process. Winning is great, titles are great but the ultimate satisfaction is to see players get fundamentally better, which doesnt always show up in the scorecards. We would like to thank the parents for trusting in us and thank our players for the hardwork and dedication which led to a birth to the Elite 32 this year. We had a blast down in Florida, can't wait to get back out there and crank it back up this fall.
Also, a big shot and thanks goes out to Scott Whaley, Head of baseball at OTC for always being willing to roll up his sleeves and being a helping hand with the boys. Also, for coming out the games and cheering us on. Top notch organization to say the least.
We will be looking to add a few more to join in on all the fun and hard work...
