Noticed several comments regarding tournaments being cancelled this weekend by USSSA. Other organizations (Grand Slam, Triple Crown,etc)work hard to make sure games are played and appreciate teams coming to play with them.
Also, the USSSA split bracket can cause some issues. For example, a team can be playing in a 9 team tournament and they divide the tournament into 3 pools of 3 teams with top 2 seeds out of 2 pools and only the number 1 seed out of the other pool being in the upper bracket. The number 2 seed in the one pool that did not make the upper bracket should have the same opportunity as the other number 2 teams.
