Former Major League Catcher Glenn Sutko will be holding two Spring Break Baseball Camps for all ages at Macedonia March 30th - April 3rd.
Catchers camp will run Monday-Friday from 11am-12:30pm for $125 or $30 per day. Drills will consist of receiving, proper footwork, throwing, blocking and learning how to control the game. Catching is the most demanding position on the field! This player must learn to be a leader, a communicator and most importantly a field general!
Infielder/outfielder camp will run from 1-3pm for $125 or $30 per day. Drills will consist of high reps of infielding/outfielding drills such as learning to charge the ball, staying down on ground balls, learning to move through the ball, learning to crow hop when making long throws from the outfield, learning how to line up your cutoff and making strong throws to the target, learning how to communicate on flyballs between infielders and outfielders and much more.
Baseball is a game that takes tons of reps to acquire the correct skill, as a result your child will be taught the same way the players practice at the MLB level. Coach Sutko has proven his style and methods work...just this past June three of his high school senior students were selected into the 2014 MLB draft, two of which signed 7 figure signing bonuses!! You can show up at Macedonia and pay the day of.
