I know we're talking about 13 year old boys and not pros, but where does the blame fall on errors at this age? Is it poor coaching or just poor performance. A coach can only coach them how to do it and its up to them to execute. My son played on a USSSA single A team last year and we moved to a TC AAA team this year and in the last 3 tourneys I've seen more errors than we made all of last season. When the team is making 6-9 errors a game its getting aggravating seeing games slip away. My son has asked me why the defense doesn't play as well when he pitches. Not sure what to tell him. Ok rant is over.
