I hear ya....I like picking at you guys a little....I live hear so I am pretty familiar with the situation....good stuff....I hope they continue to have good seasons....it certainly makes the area look good...but the question at hand is still....how do you handle kids being recruited....the Bandits for example will have kids that get recruited by the EC teams and the ATL teams...it's going to happen...I'm not saying they will leave but it will happen...and we all know that there is a big draw to go ECB. And as I have seen the legistics don't seen to matter as they get older....this is a great topic guys...keep it rolling!!!! quote: Originally posted by homerunking
Tater if you knew anything about the area you would also know that the Bandits are the ONLY team for that age in that area...They bring in the best and can go get the best..What I ment was that the core group of kids are still there...They only played with 9 kids last year until the GA. Sluggers broke up and they brought in a kids that had been playing 10u that was a 9u player. In this area you don't have 3 or 4 GOOD teams so teams like the Bandits, Battlefield Red Sox, and the Chattanooga Colonels don't have to compete with other teams for players. In that area Travel Ball is not as popular yet. So thats why I say they replace them not lose them. There aren't may other options for the kids to go to, as far as other GOOD teams in travel ball..Anyways lol its all good...Glad we cracked you up...
