Yeah, that thread took a turn for the worse!! But, I agree. Any player going to a baseball tryout should dress like a baseball player. Including spikes (cleats, whatever), baseball pants, appropriate T-shirt, baseball cap. I personally don't care whether a catcher pulls or carries his bag. If he has a bag full of catcher's gear, he's probably experienced and will warrant a look from the coach - whether he pulls that bag or carries it.
Treat the game, your teammates, coaches, opponents and umpires with respect and you will be off to a very good start. |

CACO3 - I think you have overcomplicated the pants issue. As a dad, there are only 3 types of pants (when the wife is out of town).
