Congrats to the Sandtown Red Sox on winning the A.A.B.C. World Series in Puerto Rico. This team showed up and represented Ga. in such a way I'm sure would make any fan proud. All eight teams came and played they're best ball but of course in the end only one team can claim the A.A.B.C. W.S. trophy. I think this team, and group of parents along with the staff deserve BIG UPS for what I know we would all agree has been a great season. The quality of preperation determines the quality of performance. Next stop Memphis!!!!!
Guys, You all know that Papa took a lot of flak from the Florida folks early in the year especially after the Super NIT in Atlanta but I think now that Georgia's play on the baseball fields across this great land has proved that our State should rank very high overall and that the 10 under age group has represented well and deserves much credit for their accomplishments this year. Thank you Georgia for giving us all the opportunity to play this game.
Yes this is the 10U team from Sandtown. I forgot to mention the Dodgers a team from Puerto Rico who battled the Sox in the championship game til the last out was made. Hats off those kids because they never stopped playing, the final was 8-7.
When will the Ga Bandits & Red Sox are going to play for one them to be called the best 10U in Georgia? They should play a best two out three series somewhere.
Way to go Red Sox. The 12U Shamrocks are going next week to represent GA also at the AABC World Series in Puerto Rico. Another GA team went to FL and won. The Red Sox had a great season, way to go!!!!!!!!
