The Perfect Game Super 25 is also underway in Fort Myers Florida with as the name implies 25 teams. Four teams from Ga. are competing. There are 5 pools of 5 teams each and each team will play 4 pool games. Pool Winners and 3 Wild Card Teams (Highest Seeds) will play in the single elimination Playoff Gold Bracket. Seeds 9 -16 will play in the Single Elimination Playoff Silver Bracket. Seeds 17 – 24 will Play in a Single Elimination Playoff Bronze Bracket.


Chain National is one of the better teams in Ga. and came in with a 20-8 record in the spring, including an 8-6 record against 14U competition. Chain National defeated East Coast Bombers from Charleston S.C. 12-0 while holding the Bombers to 2 hits. Chain National battled the Long Island Titans from Bayport N.Y. to an 8-8 tie. Chain then defeated the Elite Squad South from Fl. 11-3. And finally the Chain defeated TSD Travel Team from Cayer PR. 9-2. The Chain goes 3-0-1 in pool play and end up in first place in pool A. The Chain advance to the Gold bracket playoffs with a rematch against the Long Island Titans. Chain exploded for 5 runs in the fourth on their way to winning their first playoff game against the Long Island Titans 6-1. Chain Nationals advance to the semifinals of the Gold bracket where they will play the Rebels from Bradenton FL.


The 643 DP Cougars Sterling are also one of the better teams in Ga. They entered the tourney with a 29-13-3 record for the spring. The Cougars started the tourney defeating the Tri State Arsenal Prime by exploding for 22 runs in a 22-10 victory over the Mt. Laurel N.J. team. Then the Slammers Black out of Denver CO. fell to the Cougars 10-2. The Cougars then drew a tough game against the nationally ranked North Texas Banditos Autrey. The Banditos came into the tourney with an incredible 35-9-1 record. The Banditos exploded for 8 runs in the second on their way to a 14-6 victory over the Cougars. The Cougars completed pool play with a 4-0 victory over the Central Florida Outlaws Black. The Cougars went 3-1 in pool play and have a rematch against the Outlaws Black in the Silver bracket playoff. But the Cougars lose to the Outlaws in bracket play 1-6.


The Elite Gamers RWB Booth went 0-4 in pool play and are regulated to a consolation game against the Diamond Jack from NJ.


The JCS Rangers fell in their first pool game to the very tough Arkansas Express 6-12. The Rangers dropped their second pool game to the Akadema Warriors BBA Black from Middletown DE by a 3-6 score. The Rangers rebounded with 2 runs in the final inning to defeat the Houston Heat 4-3. They ended pool play with a 7-5 victory over the Hit Factory Pro out of Tampa Fla. The Rangers will have a playoff game in the Bronze bracket with Tri State Arsenal Prime from NJ. The Rangers defeated the Arsenal Prime team 8-5 to advance to the semifinals of the Bronze division. The Rangers will play a Slammers Black team from Denver CO. in the semifinal.


Georgia had one team in each playoff bracket.
