11u Teams,
At this time last year, we were talking about Cooperstown for our 12U season. We knew the only way to guarantee our participation was to have a "grandfather certificate". That's the way it works. Once a 12U team completes their tournament, Cooperstown Dreams Park provides the certificate to be handed down to the organizations team the following year to be used. We didn't have a 12U team, so we contacted several 12U teams last Fall asking if they'd sell their certificate. We found one without an 11U team, agreed to a price, and got our certificate. This week, Cooperstown Dreams Park mailed out their acceptance letters and just as we knew, our grandfather certificate guaranteed our entry.
Just like the team we purchased ours from, we don't have an 11U team to hand the certificate down to. So, we will be selling our certificate to recoup the money that our families invested.
