My name is Jake Mayers and I currently just retired from professional baseball with the Washington Nationals finishing my season in AAA as a catcher/player coach. Now my passion is to work with players in helping develop them to be the best he/she can be in catching, hitting, pitching, and fielding. I work out of SmarTense Training Facility in Alpharetta but I'm very flexible to meet at baseball parks to the lesson's convenience. I am also open during the mornings or early afternoons for anyone that is home schooled, or prefer the earlier hours.
A little more background about me: I played for the Arizona D'Backs as a third and first baseman, and for the Washington Nationals as a catcher. I went to University of Richmond where I pitched, played third and first base.
If you have any questions or interest in working with me please don't hesitate to text, call, or email me. If I'm not in a lesson I will respond back as quickly as possible.
